The Salida Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that Ride the Rockies is coming to Salida again this summer. The riders will arrive on June 13 and leave early the next morning on June 14.
As in years past, Ride the Rockies will award a $5,000 grant to a deserving nonprofit in each host town as part of their Ride The Rockies/Denver Post Community Foundation Grant Program.
The grant program focuses on providing funding to organizations that work with low-income children and youth through recreation, education or the arts and/or agencies that offer direct-service literacy programs.
