U-Pick tips and info:

~$2.00 a lbs.

~Free entry to farm.

~No charge for boxes.

~Free Parking.

~Hours for U-Pick- 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

~The best time of the season to come is in May.

~The best time of the day is mornings because it will not be as hot.

~Give yourself about 30 minutes from start to finish.  It does not take that long to to actually pick the strawberries.

~Do not pull on the strawberries because this will cause bruising.  There are free tutorials on the proper way to pick a strawberry, just ask one of us.

~Containers will be provided for both to pick the strawberries in, and for you to take them home.  If you would like to use your own containers to bring them home you are welcome to.

~Keep in mind that you can recycle the strawberry containers after you are done, or bring it back for your next visit.

~Once you decided what kind of containers you would like, you will be assign to a section of the farm to pick in.  When you are done, you will  bring the containers back to the counter where the strawberries will be transferred into strawberry boxes for you to take home.

~Wear closed toe shoes, and comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty in.  It's recommended that you wear long sleeve shirts and pants because the strawberry leaves can irritate the skin.  Hats are also recommended especially on a hot day.

~Everyone is welcome on the field, as long as there is supervision.

~Only pick in assign areas because once a section has been picked it takes a few days for the strawberries to grow, so every time you come, you will pick from different sections of the farm.

~Farm fresh strawberries are meant to be eaten in 2-3 days.  Refridgerate and wash right before consuming.

~Come out and enjoy the fun!
